The general goal of the IMP-IMBA Postdoc Association is to constantly improve the professional environment the campus provides for postdocs. The Association consists of all postdocs of IMBA and IMP, who meet regularly to discuss issues concerning all postdocs.

Once a year, the Association elects two representatives from each institute. The reps act as a liaison between the postdocs and management, and organize activities for the postdocs.

Processes and decisions where the Postdoc Association and its representatives are involved include:

• Postdocs’ needs and support by the institute
• Feedback on scientific services and research environment
• Hiring decisions for new group leaders
• Meeting with members of the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) at the IMP-IMBA Annual Recess
