We consider ourselves partners of parents in the elementary education and caring of children. Meeting the needs of children has been the central focus of Kinderfreunde's work with parents for 100 years. The amount of parent-work we do in our nurseries is defined by the needs and the interests of the parents.

• Flexibility with regards to special wishes
• Provision of educational services e.g. seminars for parents
• Transparency to ensure parents are always well-informed
• Provision of visiting mornings
• A parent’s magazine published a few times a year
• Parent evenings
• Celebrations, parties, excursions involving parents
• Possible enrolment of  guest-children where special cases arise

The staff of our Child Guidance Team can be consulted by parents, children or members of the nursery staff if problems arise with regard to the development, behaviour or well-being of a child. Names and contact dates will be publicly displayed on the notice board.
