Wiener Kinderfreunde has been the largest private operator of nurseries, crèches and afternoon caring for school children in Vienna for more than 30 years. The organisation manages 145 outlets caring for over 10,000 children. It considers nurseries/crèches to be a child’s first educational institution.

Wiener Kinderfreunde takes care to implement and comply with obligatory guiding and action principles (minimum standards, educational concepts) in accordance with quality control requirements and continuing quality development. These obligatory guidelines have been devised to secure high quality education whilst at the same time giving the opportunity for special activities in the individual institutions.
